FSNY Welcomes New Master Teacher, Emily Thompson

Thu, Jan 12, 2012

Emily Thompson's artistic sensibility is ever apparent in her unique design style. Having earned her MFA in sculpture from UCLA, Emily clearly has an eye for structural grace. She enhances her style by incorporating uncultivated, organic and unconventional materials in her designs such as wild smilax, peaches, and real butterflies.

Using her technical background, this talented designer regards the process and approach to floral designing as important as the final result. In her class Emily will take us through her creative process using flowers and other organic materials to achieve her magnificent style.

Emily will teach "The Artistic Process of Floral Design" on Thursday, February 2nd at 5:00pm.
