Last week we completed a very special Event Design Series with David M. Handy working with the animal adoption agency, Bideawee, on their annual gala fundraiser to celebrate their 110th anniversary.
Charged with 30 table arrangements, an entryway and a crowd-pleasing stage design, our group of seven fantastic FlowerSchool students took the challenge head-on. After speaking with the client and taking a walk-through of the space, the students had a good idea of the client expectations and vision for the style of design.
Working closely with David, the team pulled together two different looks for the table and a really fun and charming concept for the stage featuring a Scotty topiary playing in the grass.
Using the colors of the Bideawee brand, pink and brown, the students pulled together a fantastic design concept, which they were all able to enjoy at the event cocktail party last Monday.
What a great series and we look forward to having David return for the next Event Series this August!
