Charles Masson wowed us again with another insightful and beautiful class in early June. He always communicates his love and respect for flowers so eloquently, and with such harmonious palettes. Like the best painters, he says, the best palettes have only a few colors. One color is chosen and derivatives are then built from that color. Charles based his palette on the gorgeous early summer soft-pink peony. His palette of pinks and purples with peonies, spray roses, scabiosa, and mini dianthus offered a beautiful range of pleasing color families to work with and we were delighted as ever by the beautiful combinations that the students came up with. The best teachers are able to bring out great things in their students. And with Charles at the helm we are always pleasantly amazed!
