Spring Branches with Sullivan Owen-March 26, 2015

I am so excited to write about Sullivan Owen’s last class at FlowerSchool New York. As many of you may already know, Sullivan is the first student at FlowerSchool New York that we have asked to give Master Classes. She distinguished herself early on in her career by her dedication to learning good technique, her work ethic and her sense of color and proportion working with flowers. She took every class that we offered and volunteered to work with some of our best teachers. After 5 years in business, she has achieved a great deal of success and artistic recognition, having been featured in Martha Stewart Living recently and flower Magazine just this month.

Her class was, as usual, lively and informative. The choice of flowers; offbeat pastels which included Dogwood, Eucalyptus, Olive, Ranunculus, Dutch Lilac, champagne Sweet Pea, cappuccino Roses, Hellebore as well as Tulip Magnolia branches. All of which was arranged in a long, low tin vessel that had earthlike tones. As you can see from the pictures, a job well done by everyone who took the class!
