FlowerSchool New York’s “Art & Flowers Master Class Series” is designed to give students a unique experience that combines the talent and design aesthetic of a Master Florist with some of the world’s most influential and iconic fine artists. Each florist will find inspiration from one of their favorite artists and create flower arrangements that evoke a moment, feeling or emotion reminiscent of those artists.
“Throughout the years, Claude Monet’s Impression, Sunrise has been celebrated as the quintessential symbol of the Impressionist Movement. This renowned work of art is considered to be one of Monet’s “most poetic expressions”. Unlike other artworks of the time, the subject matter and specific painting techniques evident in Impression, Sunrise seek to transcribe the feelings initiated by a scene rather than simply rendering the details of a particular landscape.” Jamie Yurasits, Analysis of Claude Monet’s Impression, Sunrise
In this class, Master Florist Victoria Ahn of Designs by Ahn will create her own poetic expression through flowers inspired by Monet’s colors, vibrancy and ability to create emotion through art. Do not miss this opportunity to create true beauty through flowers with this renowned designer.
