"After many years as a high school language teacher and translator I recognized that I was looking for a new adventure that challenged me while still feeding my creative soul. Since flowers had a big impact on me as a little girl, picking wild flowers for my grandmother, embarking on a floral design journey naturally felt like the right fit.

It was in 2014 that I left teaching high school and opened Blue Jasmine, naming it after my grandmother’s favorite bloom, with the idea of providing and teaching an aesthetic that spoke to my idea of beauty – wild, whimsical, artful, and refined. 

I truly love dainty accents, color, texture, and each stems’ unique shape. While designing, the flowers and foliage are what guide and inspire me. I believe that highlighting the nuances of nature allows each design to tell a unique story, communicate a specific tone, and elicit a feeling. It is a privilege to work in the world of beauty and I feel so fortunate to be a part of clients’ celebrations, flower lovers’ floral journeys, and to have met many amazing and talented friends along the way!"

Master Classes at FlowerSchool New York are immersive studio experiences designed for students at all levels — from beginners eager to deepen their skills to established florists looking to learn directly from a leading floral design expert.

Each Master Class offers a rare opportunity to step inside the creative process of a celebrated designer. Students will create a refined, seasonal arrangement guided by the instructor’s signature style, with a focus on spring’s most beautiful blooms, thoughtful mechanics, and intentional design choices.

These classes are about more than technique — they’re about perspective, process, and inspiration. Whether you’re new to florals or years into your practice, you’ll leave with fresh insight, practical takeaways, and a beautiful design to take home.

Students will:

 🪻 work with premium, seasonal spring blooms selected by the instructor

 💐 create a thoughtfully scaled arrangement inspired by the designer’s aesthetic

 🛍️ take home their finished piece, packaged for easy transport
