Holland
Known as the 'Flower Capital of the World,' Holland is a stunning destination for those seeking a vacation rich in design, insider floral knowledge, and unforgettable cultural experiences.

Trip Details
The total cost of this seven day trip is $7,000 and will cover all activities, dinners, and hotels. Trip cost will not include airfare or extra accommodations should you choose to extend your trip or make purchases on the trip. Trip reservations can be reserved by paying the $1,000 deposit. Remaining trip costs will be due in two payments of $3,000 leading up to the trip in April 2027.

Because at least five participants are required for the trip to take place, depending on the number of registrants, FlowerSchool New York (FSNY) reserves the right to cancel the trip up until March 1, 2027 After March 1, 2027 all payments are non-refundable if the trip is confirmed by FSNY.

Italy
Savor the delights of Italy like a local! Enjoy eight luxurious days across Milan, Lake Como, and Venice. Indulge yourself in local flowers, food, and art to experience firsthand the Italian way of life.
Our thoughtfully curated experience, co-hosted by FlowerSchool alumna and instructor Elena Mencarelli of Elena M. Floral Design, and Maria del Campo of Ca’ Di Campo, will take you from the flower markets and gardens of Milan to the shores of Lake Como and the canals of Venice.

Elena Mencarelli | Elena M. Floral Design
A FlowerSchool alumna, instructor, and longtime floral designer, Elena brings years of experience in Italy’s floral design industry as well as an insider’s understanding of its markets, sourcing, and design traditions. Elena has personally curated all of the floral aspects of the trip and will serve as the lead design instructor.
Maria del Campo | Ca’ di Campo
Maria is a Mexican-American design director with a global background in architecture, interiors, hospitality, culinary culture, and experiential design. She is the owner of Ca’ di Campo, a Milan-based creative studio that curates immersive celebrations and experiences throughout Italy, with an approach rooted in architecture, culture, and local traditions.
Together, they’ll introduce you to their Italy: the flower markets they love, beautiful gardens and neighborhoods, memorable meals, local traditions, and the leisurely pleasures of Italian life that are off the tourist path.

Trip Details
April 23–30, 2027 | 8 Days / 7 Nights
This specially curated FlowerSchool journey begins in Milan and travels through Lake Como, the Lake Garda region, and Venice, with private transfers and carefully selected experiences throughout. The itinerary balances planned local experiences with plenty of opportunities to explore, shop, and discover Italy at your own pace.
The trip is intentionally kept small and intimate, with a minimum of eight guests. Please secure your spot by paying the deposit by December 15, 2027. Remaining trip costs will be due in two payments leading up to the trip in April 2027.
Please note that schedule itinerary changes may occur as we refine the details for the Italy Travel Program. Because at least eight participants are required for the trip to take place, depending on the number of registrants, FlowerSchool New York (FSNY) reserves the right to cancel the trip up until January 15, 2027. After that date, all payments are non-refundable if the trip is confirmed by FSNY.
Your Stay
Single Occupancy: $8,500 per guest
Double Occupancy: $7,500 per guest
*For guests traveling together who would like to share a room; double occupancy requires two participants to register together.
The trip cost includes hotels, dining, activities, and travel accommodations within Italy. Guests are responsible for purchasing their own flights to and from Italy, as well as expenses during scheduled free time.
Important Dates
December 15, 2027: $1,000 deposit due.
January 15, 2027: Deposit becomes non-refundable. A minimum of 8 confirmed guests is required for the trip to proceed. A 30% balance is due upon confirmation of the trip.
February 28, 2027: Registration closes.
March 1, 2027: The final balance is due.

Once you arrive in Amsterdam on Sunday, you’ll settle into your room at Hotel Arena, right inside the beautiful Oosterpark! On the first evening, we will meet for a welcome dinner at the restaurant in the hotel called Park Cafe.
Arrival Day in the Netherlands
Day 1 - April 13th

Monday is an exciting and full day! In the morning we will start off by exploring some of the largest flower vendors in the world to observe how their operations work at Fleurametz, Hillver de Boer and Hoek, some of our favorite vendors to buy from! A business where over 350 million blooms leave their hands and are exported to more than 60 countries every year.
Hoek is also kind enough to explain how their operations as an auction work over lunch for us.
Should they be blooming on time, we will also visit a Sweet Pea farm, so fingers crossed!

Day 2 - April 14th

Tuesday will be a tour of The Historic Farm at Aalsmeer that includes visiting a horticultural museum, the famous auction clock, greenhouses, and their historical botanical gardens filled with the most lilac! After our tour of the lilac farm, we enjoy delightful boat trip on the "Poel" (lake) and then complete the day with a late lunch at Het Tuinhuis - a sweet restaurant at the historic farm.

Day 3 - April 15th

On Wednesday morning, while fueled by coffee and pastries, we spend the morning in a floral design workshop at our Hotel, led by FlowerSchool LA’s Tara Sandonato. We will be using the lush and full blooms of the local farms and vendors we have visited!! After the workshop, You will have free time to explore the city of Amsterdam, shop, relax; whatever you choose!
We will provide itineraries for those (advanced purchase needed) for famous site tours such as the Anne Frank House, Westerkerk, Nine Streets, the Skinny Bridge, and the dancing houses at the Amstel River. These will be on your own.
Flower Workshop - Make a REAL DUTCH MASTERPIECE!
Day 4 - April 16th

Thursday after breakfast we will meet for a guided tour at the famous Rijks Museum to explore more than 8,000 works of art from Dutch and European history, including masterpieces by Rembrandt, Vermeer and Van Gogh. We will then enjoy a group lunch in the city before enjoying a relaxing canal cruise in a luxury, 100% electric boat that takes you through the waterways that run through the city. While sipping on delicious wine and tasty snacks, we will see some of the most famous neighborhoods, ‘de pijp’, ‘de Wallen’ and ‘de Jordaan’ all from the canal. We will have the opportunity to see historic bridges and picturesque merchant houses that give the city its charming and iconic character.
Amsterdam Day
Day 5 - April 17th

On Friday, there will be many incredible photo moments throughout our adventures! We will start off our day visiting the world famous Keukenhof Garden and the exquisite Tulip Field Tour. Following our tours, we will walk through the beautifully photogenic Fam Flower Farm!
We conclude our day back to the city, where we meet up again for our farewell dinner at the Michelin Star restaurant De Kas.

Day 6 - April 19th

Just because our program is over, doesn't mean you have to leave. Feel free to coordinate another trip from Amsterdam or stay on to continue this wonderful city either with a friend or on your own. There's just TOO MUCH to do here. Coordinate directly with the FlowerSchool Team for room extensions.
