Takaya Sato’s love for floral design began over twenty years ago while training as a designer at his father’s flowers and events shop in Japan. Takaya has been designing for international, New York City-based companies’ most elite events. He held the position of Creative Director at prestigious floral and event design firms, as well as with renowned restaurant groups, where he curated exquisite daily and weekly interior floral arrangements, in addition to designing weddings and private events. Takaya has been widely published in illustrious magazines, such as New York Time, Elle Décor, New York Weddings, Knot and many more. And most recently he has been featured in the worldwide flower designer collection book “FLOWERS” published from Assouline.

INSPIRED by AYAKO ROKKAKU

Known for her playful characters and colorful palettes, Ayako Rokkaku (b.1982) is a self-taught Japanese artist that has exhibited globally. Rokkaku’s style of painting is unique as she paints using her bare hands on surfaces ranging from paper and cardboard to creating pieces on Louis Vuitton suitcases and glass sculptures. Her work evokes memories of childhood and wild imaginations.
