Join us for a hands-on, professionally focused floral design class where we’ll break down what makes weekly arrangements for hotels and corporate spaces feel polished, consistent, and worth coming back to week after week. Together, we’ll explore how to design with longevity, brand consistency, and visual impact in mind while building a strong foundation for working with recurring clients.
Students will:
Learn which flowers perform best for weekly work from longevity and durability to consistency in design
Create a dynamic composite arrangement using two vessels (one low, one tall) that can be styled together or separately across multiple spaces
Explore professional mechanics and design techniques tailored for hospitality and corporate environments
Understand care and refresh practices, including when to update arrangements and how to maintain them throughout the week
Gain insight into pricing strategies and how to build a sustainable hotel or corporate subscription business
Practice designing with intention for repeat clients, balancing creativity with efficiency and consistency
This class is perfect for florists, aspiring designers, and creatives looking to expand into hotel and corporate work or build a steady weekly client base. No prior experience required—just an interest in creating beautiful, functional designs.

Meet Your Instructor, Courtney Bowden:
With 11 years of floral design experience spanning four major U.S. markets, New York City, Washington D.C., Denver, and Charlotte, Courtney Bowden recently launched her own venture, August Company, bringing luxe floral experiences to high-end hotels and discerning clients across NYC. Passionate about teaching and mentoring the next generation of designers, she champions formal floral design education as the key to a thriving career. When she’s not crafting stunning arrangements, you’ll find her fueled by cappuccinos, snacking on pints of cherry tomatoes, and grooving to a good 80s new wave playlist.
Please note: The arrangement pictured is for inspiration—varieties, color palettes, and final designs will vary by class. Flowers are purchased the week of each session, so specific flowers and colors cannot be guaranteed.
