About the event
After learning the basic floristry techniques in the Introduction Series, the Intermediate Series will introduce the next level of floral design skills and techniques including purchasing flowers and building recipes. The prerequisite for this program is the Introduction Series.
Students will be expected to have a basic knowledge of flora design and floristry skills such as using the tools and conditioning flowers.
Day 1
- Class 5: 9:30am - 12:30pm
- Class 6: 1:30pm - 4:00pm
Day 2
- Class 7: 10:30am - 12:30pm
- Class 8: 1:30pm - 4:00pm
Day 3
- Class 9: 10:30am - 1:30pm
Skills Include:
- Large Scale Branch - how to correctly handle and care for branches.
- How to ribbon, tape and deliver perfect bridal bouquets every time.
- Use loppers for large branches
- Industry best practices & techniques for purchasing, transporting and building recipes.
- Incorporate Color Theory, flower shape and style into your designs.
- High-end design styes that, once learned, can be recreated at home again and again
- Making magic like no other!
